  • Yes, we are registered with many insurance companies. While we don’t currently offer direct billing, we’re in the process of setting it up to make things easier for our clients. For now, we’ll provide you with a receipt after each session, which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please also check with your provider, as coverage for psychotherapy services can vary by plan.

  • We accept credit cards and e-transfer. Payment is due at the end of each session, and we will provide you with a receipt afterward.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the time to someone else and make necessary schedule adjustments. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur the full session fee.

Psychotherapy

  • Psychotherapy, also known as talk therapy, is a way to help people with a variety of mental health issues. It involves talking with a trained therapist to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and work towards positive change.

  • The length of therapy depends on the individual and their specific needs. We offer both short-term and long-term therapy, and work with clients to determine the best approach.

  • We typically recommend weekly sessions, but the frequency can vary based on the individual's needs.

  • Yes, everything discussed in therapy is confidential, with a few exceptions. We will discuss these exceptions during our first session.

  • During the first session, we will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and your goals for therapy. We will also go over our policies and answer any questions you may have.

  • You can contact us by phone or email to schedule an appointment. We will get back to you as soon as possible to set up a time that works for you.

If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

We look forward to working with you.
